If this is available beginning of next month I will purchase this....
This month I need to give my gaming... I mean gambling addiction a rest
I've spent 1/3 of what Beldar spent! :(

Couldn't you just open up wordpad and type "mist fullplate armor" and get the same high?

Is it possible to add padding to the mist armor and it stays when it gets sucked back in the ring and comes back out of the ring? Specifically: Can the smithy be used on it?

But but if you glue ur skin to the armor you will turn into mist and also go inside ring!!!

So someone can then wear you on their finger?

No, mist armors cannot get any form of mechanical enhancements. Can't be padded, enchanted, endorcelled, flared, whatever.

Okay, so the weightless seems cool, but if you can't pad it and you can't ensorcell why does this armor command more than 100 mil as a price?

Doesn’t it turn into a glorified hider too, or were the cloudy amorphous shape armors not the same as this?

I thought they were the most armor variety as well but they remade new ones to these types?

Since it's weightless, it will add from 100 lbs (giantman) to 38 lbs (halfling) to carrying capacity for encumbrance factors.

race wouldn't factor in this

but that is just for the Armor Encumbrance Formula the only benefit you get from this plate armor and regular plate armor is the (standard armor weight - actual armor weight) part of the formula.

It should. As a HK mine gives my plate gives me an additional 82 lbs carrying capacity. Base 75 lbs with a 1.1 racial modifier. Truncates down to 82 rather than rounding up to 83 lbs. I was just about to test on a human character but my ring is stuck...so it'll have to wait for an assist.

From the cited article: The amount of unencumbered carrying capacity gained or lost from wearing non-standard weight armor is the product of the weight difference and a race encumbrance factor.

And if it's trunc then I amend my original post to 99 and 37 lbs depending on race.

right but the racial modifier doesn't change for whatever character you buying the armor for though

A halfling wearing maxlight fullplate currently will benefit from an additional 18-19 lbs carrying capacity. (Weightless-38)*.5 whereas a giantman currently wearing maxlight fullplate would see an additional 49 pound increase in carrying capacity.

I think we're all agreeing on the added benefits but I'm not sure.

Nice armor.
