Thought I'd make a post because I saw a few of you picked it up. How are you liking it so far?
I'm only a few hours in but I'm enjoying it quite a bit. It's a big departure from the previous games. The combat is a lot like Dark Souls, and the other systems + loot stuff reminds me of an open-world RPG. The tomb raiding is really great. Graphics are excellent, but I got severe FPS drops if I tagged someone with my hawk from more than a hundred meters away (Xbox).

Bought it, haven't played yet. Playing on PC.

So far the game is a GOTY contender for me. The two year dev cycle has really helped flesh out things that were lacking in the series. It clearly draws a lot from Witcher 3 in terms of exploration and side questing.

It doesn't have 5434534534653456324 glitches?

I haven't noticed them (again, Xbox). I think the most common complaint I've seen people make is that... there's too much to do. But you can put your camel on cruise-control so that's great.

I'm trying not to bounce of it. Not sure what it is, but I am not drawn into the world all that much.

I didn’t buy it yet knowing Ubisoft’s track record and how atrocious AC has been since brotherhood

I've never been a fan of the AC games. I played the first one and enjoyed it but never bothered any of the others until now. Like Taernath said, GOTY for 2017, no doubt. Absolutely fantastic game and probably one of the best open world games I've ever played.

I'm building my own Animus machine to go find them.

Just bumping this because I went back to finish the DLC in preparation for Odyssey, and I noticed a new Tour mode was put in. You can walk around in free-roam and take guided tours that explain a lot of Egyptian history and some of the stuff that's represented in game but almost certainly went unnoticed by players. I thought that was pretty cool since it's something I really wouldn't expect them to do, and on top of it all, it's free.
