Double Lumnis time.

My 6 month date was actually 10/4 but with all the excitement I am just getting around to doing it again, so there is a high chance many of you folks are due for another double dip.

Double Lumnis:
Complete your Lumnis (I like ASAP, but it's not manditory)
Use a Lumnis schedule (or do a gift of the gods login boost, Lumnis, for a free schedule.)
Use LUMNIS SCHEDULE to set a time coming up (I use 5 minutes as a safety buffer)
WARNING! double check your time and date numbers, if you set the wrong time or day it could seriously bone you. Remember times are in elven and the week starts on Sunday.
When the time comes your Lumnis will start again, letting you get 2 Lumnis in a week.

YOU CAN ONLY RESCHEDULE ONCE EVERY SIX MONTHS FOR GAINS!!!
That is to say, if you try to double dip within the 6 month window, you will not receive your first schedule of Lumnis and it will begin on the second round. This 6 months is not tracked, I put a label on my boots so I wouldn't forget.

P.S. someone was once concerned that this was an exploit, but Simu gave us the timeframes to do it specifically so I am confident it's acceptable practice.

would it not be better to wait for the next lumnis contest as well? if you can double lumnis, why not do it during the contest? is the contest monthly?

It is quarterly and Lumnis multipliers do not count toward toward the contest (nor RPAs or Boosts)

The contest is every 3 months, but doing 2 Lumnisi in that week won't affect your contest numbers. The contest tracks your XP gains over 6 hours of absorption and figures out what your bonus would have been under Old Lumnis. It only looks at honest absorbed XP, so no LTE's, mind clearers, instant absorb from bounties, or even your current lumnis bonus.

Good thought though, I'm always looking for ways to do a little better in the contest.
