View Full Version : Spring Break
Okay, I got about two weeks leave coming up in April and because I don't want to sit around chicago and do jack shit the entire time I've decided to jet somewhere for spring break. Now, where should I go?
I got a cousin in San Diego that I could probaly chill with and I've only seen once in like 8 years but hes married.
My best friend is in San Antonio, but hes getting married.
The goal is to not spend an assload of money because I still have to pay for college when I get out.
lil help?

Meaning you pay for sex.
Go to Munich Germany, Providence Town Massachusetts, or Key West Florida.

Shit, you're in Chicago? CRIE! There's plenty to do there, even though it sucks outside because it is cold.
I would say, now is the time to hit up Cancun, or, one of those nice carribean islands.. yeah.. I think there are a few out there..
Or take a cruise..
whatever you do.. go somewhere that's not -15 degrees

VEGAS BABY!
By the way.. I'll be in Vegas from 2/12-2/19. You can find me the first 2 days at a crap table in Circus Circus.. then the rest of the time period you can find me at the Paris.
Maybe when I hit it big.. you too can say "Hey.. I know that guy!"

Craps?? HAHAHAH HIT IT BIG... yeah right. Leave the title to your mini van back in tampa or you'll end up hocking it and then you will have to give head to truck drivers all the way back.

You might enjoy one of the Barefoot cruises more than the standard cruise fare. I'm sure you can Google up some information on them. :)

Actually.. Craps has the best chances of making money. And you don't have to worry about me having to hock the mini-van.. it's a lease and I'm flying.
Dumbass.

Blackjack. The only game where if you play it right you have the odds (just barely) in your favour. Although I understand craps has fairly good odds as well, just not as good as blackjack.
I always win on computer black jack.

Part of gambling is the entertainment value as well. Blackjack is so painfully boring.. it's not worth the odds.

OH NO! I DIDN'T STUDY MY ODDS TABLES!
I'll pit my record in Vegas against yours anyday.
Dumbass.
I'm sad you live in Tampa.. just as sad as the day I found out Lycain lives here as well. Way to bring the entire city's IQ down a few notches.

Craps has the best odds in the house. It's the only game where you can get fair money for your bets. The house edge comes from the % of times 7 comes up instead of milking you on bad exchange rates, ala Roulette.
If you can play blackjack perfectly everytime, you can lower the house advantage by .08% less than 1/10 of a percent. if you can count cards you can push the advantage slighty into your favor, though you aren't counting cards on an auto shuffler, and you need to be a freaking savant on an 8 deck count.
If you really want to win money, study up and hit the sports book.

I dislike the hotel.
I find the casino smelly and run down.
I find the workers there less than nice.
I find the cocktail watresses there less than attractive.
But damn.. 2 years ago I could NOT LOSE there. I won at everything.
Hope that answers your question.

Panama City, Deytona Beach, South Padre Island are all excellent choices.

Daytona Beach is a very, very nice place to go for Spring Break.
Alright, so I think I got the plan. I'll go home for a few days. Visit family, head out to Cali to see my cousin assuming he doesn't have anything going on and then hop on like a 5 day cruise to wherever. Anyone know *anything* about cruises? cuz I sure as fuck don't

About the only cruise I can think of out of California that one can do in 5 days is a Baja cruise. You can take a look at this one, and there may be more to be Googled for:

thx, any other helpful info about cruises in general?

Different cruise lines have different things to offer (or things to drive you batty!). Just check things out carefully to be sure what kind of cruise you're taking, what kind of entertainment is offered, whether or not the ship will be full of screaming rugrats....that kinda thing.
My vote is for Cancun. Highest skin:liquor ratio...
