Level 50 Rogue Build Checkup

I've been away for about 4 or 5 years and wanted a quick checkup. I'm about to use a fixskill and wanted to get your opinion about this build.

I'm a Dark Elf TWC ambushing rogue that picks my own boxes. I do occasionally pick other people's boxes, but not often. I am in Voln, and I think I'm at step 10, if I recall correctly...

Member of the Rogue Guild, but have not mastered any skills yet.

Goals:

1. Get into MBP (wearing chainmail shirt right now)
2. Get to 15 ranks of MOC (have my first 5 ranks now, and will begin to build this up since I've gotten to 410 - on target to hit 10 ranks at level 65 and 15 ranks at level 81)
3. Begin 3x PF, Picking, and Disarming (will begin 3xing these skills at level 51)
4. I had a group of friends I hunted with when I was last in game, but they've all capped now and/or they are not currently playing, so I want to be able to hunt like-level critters alone.

I'm thinking about picking up Sucker Punch next. What do you recommend?

Basically, rip this apart and tell me if I'm doing anything wrong. If I were to execute this build right now, I'd have 3 PTP and 0 MTP left.

Welcome back, a lot has changed since you left. Your build looks fine but I would strongly suggest reading about the changes to brawling/Unarmed combat. UAC rogues, especially voln members, are an excellent choice.

Thanks. I had a UAC build when it was first introduced and I did like it. I remember thinking that I liked the build, but that it could have used some work. There are a lot of smart people on this forum who I'm sure have poked and prodded the UAC build and have figured a lot of good stuff out.

I've got three different spreadsheets for my rogue. This one, one for a UAC Build, and one for a THW build. Still working on the latter two ATM, though.

Only issue I can see here is you don't have any training in TWC, so you will be lacking a tad in the DS department. I would suggest either getting 1 rank of TWC (+5 DS) or .5x(+15 DS). Another option, while more expensive TPs wise, is pick up shield training and then get shielded brawler. Its going to be tough to fit everything in with the spells but it will all work out in the end. Not sure where your rogue is located but my Monk is level 53 and would be happy to show you around. He is collecting favor in Bonespear at the moment but is generally hunting the Blighted Forest.

.5x will give you about +15 more DS. I don't think anything more will really help your DS.

Okay, I'll modify the build to include .5x TWC training and see what happens with the MOC portion (I spent a lot of points to get 15 ranks of MOC, but .5x TWC would be a better trade-off. I do not want to lose 410, though).

I'll have 5 ranks of MOC at my current level, will have 10 ranks of MOC at level 55 and 15 ranks MOC at level 65...doesn't sound like a bad trade-off to me...

I have a low 50's UAC Rogue, Voln master. I'm running a similar setup, though I've only got up to 404, 2x in pick/disarm, 10 ranks of MoC, but I'm 1.5 or 2x in CMans(can't remember off the top of my head). CMans are pretty expensive, and I'll probably slow down on them a little later, to catch up with armor, a plan similar to yours. Right now I'm just in brig. Hunting in Bonespear now, and it works quite well.

I would most certainly make mastering Voln priority number one. It doesn't take too long at this level range, and the AS/DS/TD bonus is pretty good when you get to the higher ranks, and being able to self bless is so useful. I used to be a CoL master, but I got really tired of every other bounty from the Adventurers Guild being an undead bounty that I couldn't do, or would have to jump through hoops, begging a bless to complete. Now, with a set of normal UAC gear, and a set of blessable UAC gear, and the ability to self bless...it's way more fun and easy to just go about my business.
