Cool Sea Creatures

My cousin sent me these, they're pictures of some deep-sea creatures that washed ashore after the tidal wave. Kind of cool, but gross.

Heheh,
I used to live on the coast of the North Sea.
Usually every day me and a friend spent our 10 yr old lives stamping , barefoot on washed up jellyfish.
It's terrifying when you dont know they're there , and you step into mound of quivering sand.
Those pictures are horrid, by the way.

I could be going way off base...but..

why is it when someone posts something, someone on these boards (not always the same person..someone in a "general" sense) goes out of their way to disproove it? Who cares? What does it matter?

I don't know about you but I won't knowingly perpetuate a rumour or untruth if I know it's not true. It's not an insult to the person to correct them, it's merely a statement of the facts. Better to nip it in the bud then to let many more people who read it also be misled.
