Duskuin Booklet Sale for Silver

In about 2 hours or so, we're going to offer a limited sale on booklets. You will be able to purchase a 50-count booklet for 10,250,000 silver. We will not be selling any other sizes of booklets or jars (note, you can use booklets for the sewers as well). There will be an in-game announcement just before this takes place.

Pretty cool to do IMO. Yeah it lowers the $ value of silver but at least you can do something with it.

So, there you have it. They are setting a floor "limited time" 1 mil/$4.87 ... not bad.

Well duskruin isn't 365 days a year....yet...and boredom/desperation/people paying a high amount for bloodscrip so its worth it to farm is what is creating the value of the books.

What I'm most curious about all this is what Wyrom's preferred silver for dollar rate was. I'm going to go ahead and say it's 5 per just by the way he priced it 250k over an even 10 mil (possibly hinting he wants books to go for 10mil in the secondary market.) Anyway, interesting...

Sucks there is no difference for sewer jars like only sewer going to take a 4 to 5 m silver loss if I do sewers. Its a cool thing being done though imo

Actually, honestly, I think every opening day or two on each of these type of events Wyrom should have one of these sales.. just to keep the silver market alive (it's really unhealthy to destroy this market). I expect very few people will utilize as the secondary market will undercut, but it would put a concrete floor on silvers.

Yeah they are expensive but people were buying them for 9m and this is removing silver from the game instead of it just changing hands increasing silvers value longterm and they are taking a hit to simucoins by doing it so it's pretty cool of Wyrom to do.
