Stone Mountain may be the largest single Confederate memorial. And it is the memorial that would be most difficult to change, being carved on the side of a granite mountain. Well, it's an odd place. You have normal, mostly flat, landscape and this one enormous barren rock, so big it's called a mountain. They have a tram you can ride to the top and walk around. There's even a restaurant and small museum on top. I have always suspected that it may actually be the exposed end of a buried dinosaur egg.
