I like a variety of ways to hunt and after seeing all the advice on builds I went with this option. I'll pick lores up to 1x soon. He's a member of voln so I'm mainly hunting undead. I can use UAC, bolt, or just 502 (dual open hand channel) everything to death. It keeps the monotony down which is what kills me as a player.

Interesting let me know how your DS does. with dual open hands.

So far it's about 10-20 less than when holding a runestaff in defensive. Keep in mind I have my ranger keep mobility and colors on him but other than that it's all self spelled.

Open hands
A zombie tries to bite you!
AS: +202 vs DS: +278 with AvD: +34 + d100 roll: +82 = +40
A clean miss.

Runestaff in hand
A zombie tries to bite you!
AS: +202 vs DS: +296 with AvD: +34 + d100 roll: +16 = -44
A clean miss.

Try adding one rank of TWC, pretty sure you will see a very slight (+5?) bonus to your DS. Plus it will allow you, open handed, to parry attacks.

Also, not sure going with 0 points in CMAN is the best way to use UAC. Though, if you're primarily hunting with bolts, it probably doesn't matter much.

I'll mostly be bolting and using 502 in the future, right now I've not had any issues with my UAF being too low by not having CM.
