So, I've had this project piece that I'd been working on for quite a while. I took one of the old ruby-studded black ora shields, one that inspected as black ora. I got it altered, then got Grobey shield zests swapped to it, then altered the bracer form of it. It needs another unlock(xerria is back hooray!). It's 5x now, also. Shield stats are: 8lbs, 5x, further lightenable, medium shield base. My goal was to take it to 7x and get a shield resize to tower, but then Briarmoon Cove didn't happen again, so no shield resizing. Still, if it's offered again, I highly recommend tower shielding the bugger!

Inspect:

Pressing your thumb against the glyph, you feel the shield grow warm and quickly remove your right hand as a flash of light centers over your left arm. When it recedes, you notice that your shield has transformed into a thorned black ora manacle!
a thorned black ora manacle - A glistening band of black ora has been fashioned into a single, unbroken, manacle, the surface riddled with thorns. The delicate looking manacle is twined with irregular thorns, facing all directions including lining the interior of the band, faint crimson tips breaking the otherwise unending tenebrous hue of the black ora. Protruding out of the manacle is a single half ring, bound to a matching chain that abruptly ends in a broken link.
