Ok so I rolls up the bard I've been meaning to for a year now, and in my excitement of getting 1004 I try to purify the first gem I get which happened to be a green zircon from a kobold. And its an orb!?

Who woulda thunk. So, is every use for an orb connected with its value? Additionally, is the rechargeable aspects recieved when getting the purpose?



PS I ran the gamut in that first five minutes of testing, as I killed my self shortly afterward by singing to a tourmaline, and blowing it.

Orbs are only useful on higher-end gems. So yes, an orb zircon is worthless. Rechargable gems are pretty random, as any gem "could" be rechargable. Though the cheapest I've ever seen have been 1k gems.

yes, when singing the purpose, it will show if its MR or not. an orb will show it drawing power, and an MR will show it drawing power, but with a messaging along the lines of it pulsing with your song
