View Full Version : Should Enchant Item (925) be a Wizard Guild ability?

Should 925 Enchant Item be taken out and be solely a Wizard guild ability? In it's place I propose another utility spell of equal usefulness that benefits the Wizard only. (Possibly a more powerful familiar-like spell) What do you think?

No but I think 5x should the new minor project cap instead of 4x since 5x gear is so abundant from duskruin having to take an extra month to enchant something to 5x when basically everyone has that now is pretty annoying.

I could see a scenario where the guild benefited it like lock mastery does for a rogue. That might entice me into alchemy, and I stress might.

It does, you can make pretempers and stuff.

I could see an expansion of the wizard guild, specifically alchemy, wherein 2 high level wizards working in conjunction over a few months could make a Bromin or Aleteh potion.

From what I have heard though, alchemy makes the rogue guild seem like a walk in the park. If I need pre-temper potions then I am more than willing to pay someone. I was speaking more of time or more difficult enchants, in the same way that a Warrior or Rogue can learn skills via cmans, they are better if learned through the guild, so some sort of enhancement to enchanting, ie. time or the ability to enchant above 7 is the only way I would ever consider it.

Eh, they are just different. They both suck.

I'd say yes to 5x being a minor project simply because it is a naturally occurring enchant, with metals and woods such as golvern, illthorn, krodera, lor, sephwir, and veil iron.
