So, we have some very computer savvy people that visit the PC and I find myself wondering if any of you have seen this error message I'm getting when I try to use some software on my computer. I just downloaded a new plugin for this program I use but, when I try and start it up, I get this error message:

I know it's a long shot but I can't get a response from the software company or the plugin manufacturer. I can provide further information but I'm hoping someone will be able to determine from the screenshot if there's a possible solution.

I'm not exactly at a standstill in my workflow or anything but it annoys me that I can't use this plugin.

It's a problem in the code of the plug-in. I'm not familiar with this particular coding language, but it looks like the software used to allow an ambiguous call and doesn't anymore. If you can open the code of the plug-in (i.e. if it's open source), you can search for instances of currentChanged() and try to fiddle with those until it works. If it's a closed source and older plug-in you're probably out of luck, it's really cumbersome to try and keep old code up to date so almost nobody does.

I purchased the plugin a while ago and am just now trying to install it. Good news is that the third party who made the plugin has contacted me so hopefully have it sorted soon.
