A couple days ago someone was asking others about an email from SIMU regarding savants. Said they'd be available to try/check out but not available IG for some time yet to come.

Anyone know about that? Is it BS or a test server thing?

Probably BS. Wyrom said Savants are a long ways off. Or something along those lines.

Last I heard Wyrom had said there was zero effort being dedicated to Savant development, or some such.

Savants are not coming out anytime soon, anything said to the contrary short of Wyrom or an official post, is pure BS.

Simutronics is not capable of, either financially or employee wise, of making any changes to anything in the game aside from using the ingame scripting language. They have said outright and proven with their stance on things, of just not being interested in upgrading the again infrastructure of the game engine and supporting services. See for example their response of not changing anything inside the character manager, which is probably only adjusted by working on the engine of the game itself, thus requiring "onsite". Its a real shame and one that I hope changes as their revenue increases with the new simucoin event structure.

I hope we get another round of giftbox items when GSV comes out.
