Not sure if this is worth anything or not but as the title says i found a lute, it came in a matching white oak case inlaid with a faenor vine and leaf pattern. The case also has buttons and a flap for when you open and close it.

You analyze your oak case and sense that it may be altered with either a long or show description. Based on the design, you realize that changing the noun would be acceptible. While the material it is made out of may be changed, you sense that it would need to be something that has buttons or toggles on it. It may/may not be worn (depending on how the item was made). Being unable to wear it is not an error.
It is designed to hold average to large instruments only.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I have something very much like it that I picked up at EG a few years ago. If it's the same as mine, it's a nice looking instrument, but not master class (unfortunately).

I just found it in a critter box. I know next to nothing about instruments and have no idea on what class or how to tell for that matter.

Find a bard, get it sung to. If it's critter found in the treasure system, it might be master quality. It might be enhancive. If you have FWI, I can send Nihrvanah to sing to it for you.

I do appreciate the offer but I do not have access to FWI. I'm also currently in RR so it may be sometime before I stumble on a bard. At least I know now not to just pawn it away.

Thanks!
