I enjoy them. I've played Farcry3, 4, Blood Dragon, and Primal. I've only ever finished Blood Dragon, but typically get 30-40 hours of fun fucking about per title. Well worth the price of admission.

They're ok, but are extremely formulaic and are really only remembered for their villains. This one looks to be 10x GUNS, GOD, and 'MURICA as the previous ones, so what little subtlety the series had is out the window.

Except for Primal because it didn't really have a story.

I like 2, 3 was okay, Blood Dragon was great, and 4 wasn't bad. Hopefully it rises rather than falls.
