My soon-to-be cat Donkey. I pick him up Wednesday.

I went to the shelter today. I was so torn, because I met the cutest dog when I first arrived. In the end, I decided it wasn't fair to have a dog and no yard, so I went to meet the cats. I sat down and watched them for a little bit. This guy came up, jumped on my lap, attached himself to my coat with his claws and started purring. :heart:

He has a limp because of an old injury on his right leg, but so do I, so we're good!

If you're feeling bad about not getting the dog, you did the right thing by getting the cat. 70% of all shelter cats are euthanized. :(
