To my knowledge, this is the most powerful trident in the game. At least that has seen the light of day in the last 10 years. There are plenty of spears though. Your best bet might be to try and get the sanct removed

Sanct is its own slot, removing it would be no benefit.

Removing sanct might be a good idea on a weapon that would otherwise be blessable. Like a sanct enhancive with no flares and no crit weighting. But this already has crit weighting, its not going to be blessable, so no reason to remove the sanct.

There's a possible reason. Sanct makes it much harder to ensorcell, and requires the potion (although the potion is trivial). If you're going to paladin bond it anyway, which will put the sanct back on, then the sanct isn't doing anything other than making it harder to ensorc.
