I've decided to master battle barriers. I have enough ranks available (possible minus current) to master it, but I have a question...
Guild reps are excessively repetitive for this skill. Is there a Lich script available to help?
Thanks!

Also I found that if you just turn in critter box reps you fly through the lower ranks, even though you take a hit once in a while by turning in critter box reps. There are so many other tasks you have a chance of getting that it makes up for it.
Eventually (around rank 50 or so I think) you get a second critter box rep (the first is to just bash any box, then at this point I think you have to specifically bash mithril or something?), and this can slow things down and maybe even make you lose training points sometimes.
At any rate if you can get your hands on 50 or 100 guild training voucher thingies, even at lower ranks, that should be more than enough to master batter barriers and you'll really move through the ranks.
And of course turning in critter rep box tasks is an option in the setup menu of ;warrior, which is why I mention all of this :O

Thanks for all the help! I had 2 carpal tunnel surgeries on both wrists in the 90's, so appreciate the lessening of repetitive activity!
Best,

Critter box reps give tons of points and go fast if you have them, though. If you have/know a rogue with LFM, they can relock empty boxes for you to bash.

I followed your advice, and everything went great, especially since tonight was an impromptu Guild Night. I purchased 100 vouchers, and went from 14 ranks of battle barriers to 31 in 4 hours. I only used 9 vouchers.
Thanks again!

You are the man, Tgo01! And the obvious person to turn to for advice.
I made a big push, and just mastered Battle Barriers!
The only skill I have left is Disarm (currently 14 ranks), I've mastered everything else.
Tgo01, do you have a special strategy for Disarm? To be honest, I was thinking of skipping it, and if I ever decide I need it in the future, I can get Disarm through the CMAN system.
What's your advice?
Thanks!

Well if you have a partner you can do disarm reps with that would be the way to go. If not I would use up the remainder of your guild vouchers by having ;warrior turn in partner reps.
You should probably do all other tasks, including critter reps if you're able to. Turning in partner and critter reps would probably go through vouchers entirely too fast. Of course if you have enough silvers to keep you swimming in vouchers then go for it :p

I know this sounds unrelated but it's not, because I'm considering redoing my CMANs. First off, would you bond to the following weapon?
a mithril bastard sword, 4x (+20), blessable, +2 CON, +9 Ambush, +2 Dodging, +10 Perception
I definitely want to bond to a blessable switchable THW/OHE.
Thanks!

You don't really have a lot of options it is basically a bastard sword or a bastard axe. Good luck trying to find an axe. If that is the best weapon you feel you can get for a while or have plans to upgrade then yes.

What drauz said. You can always bond to a different weapon later.
