Since Blanks made road trips cool again, I've been thinking about making the drive from Baltimore to St. Louis for SimuCon. I thought it'd be cool to see if there was anyone else along the route who might be considering the same, do like a caravan type deal. I suppose I'd even be willing to pick up a hitchhiker if you promise not to murder me and steal my truck, though you'd have to deal with my loud singing and steering wheel drumming, but I assure you I sing on-key and have excellent rhythm.

Some major cities/areas I'd be traveling near/through:

Baltimore, MD
Morgantown, WV
Pittsburgh, PA
Columbus, OH
Cincinatti, OH
Indianapolis, IN
uhhh East St. Louis, MO ?
Pretty much anyone within an hour or two from those cities

Would even wait for folks from the MD/DE/VA/Philly/NYC area too if they wanted to road trip it. Ideally leave Wednesday morning the 2nd.

I was probably going to leave after Lemp Mansion on Sunday the 6th. But, I don't have a problem getting back late or the next day. I'm flexible.

I'm guessing they have tiny bladders and will want to stop every 2 hours.

I'll bite, even though I'm fairly certain you know exactly what the deal is here.

It's free. There's typically an Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for the conference room @ the Sheraton, though with the overwhelming response from last year I'm not even sure that is needed this year, but... The more money they take in from the campaign, the more goodies they can offer.

You have it backwards, you pay for their hotel room.

Now that you're in, you better brush up on your 50s doo-wop lyrics, because all 12 presets on my Sirius are 50s on 5.
