<(sigh) it means that it's information she's not allowed to release to
the general public,as much is around here.

It's really rude of you to be so sarcastic to Melissa. She does her
best and makes the effort to reply as best she can. I think you owe her an
apology.>

and I think it is rude of you to have the audacity to come on the
boards and speak for Simu.

Does her best? If you want my opinion of how her best ranks compared
to the other 2 product managers that have worked at Simu since I started
playing feel free to ask me at the Players Corner or by email

here are a few examples from the same thread of what those idiots think on topic is
Did I really do that? Geez.

The missing E at least I can lay partial blame on the keyboard; it's been dropping keystrokes (off and on) for a couple of months.
(Needless to say, this gets really annoying when doing some number crunching and the bottom line on the tax return is off by a multiple of ten... because one of the freaking 0's got left out. Or something is/is not allowed (or at a different rate) because the "1" in "12" didn't happen, so whatever you're doing took place in February instead of December.)

Krakii... keyboards are SO inexpensive. :)

my response was very simple:

You disgust me

At least have the courage to say you removed the post because it talks about your Boss

and if that would have been the email I would have posted the email in GS Gems. Because at least they would have been honest

Whatcha expect? Cheering? Lord liftin' Jesus, guy, you got to know by now they're happier with posts about getting lip lovin' from goats. Ain't no company nowhere, ever, gonna tolerate posts on their official boards slamming employees you name.

:wtf:

Is that a slam or an attempt by me to take something off topic to email or here?

If anyone would ask they would get:

Mel has always responded to my posts and emails. Back when I was in my "trying to win the game" phase, I sent Mel many emails concerning fame, fame lists and OTF. She always responded. I think she is doing a good job trying to balance what the players want and trying to make a profit.

I see her point, but did she delete that tripe you were responding too?

This is unfortunate, I'm glad the GMs don't post overmuch on the boards (or the boards I read) because at the drop of a hat the post of a GM turns into a love fest of nonsensical asskissing. It doesn't matter what the GM said, someone will bring up the time he drank a belly shot off such and such at Simucon 2000 or whatever. Or how such a good job she did on implementing feature X.

As for the keyboard thing, I see that sorta thing here and also on psinet, I think some people just like to yack, doesn't matter what about, its like a self-advertisement. If they don't post every 10 posts or talk every 10 chats they cease to exist and are sucked back into dreamworld.
