Right now I'm playing gs old school and typing everything for my attacks. I'm also kinda lazy with spells so not sure what spells to use when I'm hunting other than spam 702 until things die.

At level 28 I'm doing cyclops and doing just fine however when I head up to the glacier I seem to slow down a lot more.

Any advice on how to set up macros, alias commands to make casting easier? Have any useful tips on spell combos or why some spells are more useful on specific critters or locations. Or any tricks & scrips to help make a sorc life easier please post a reply I would truly appreciate it.

Gonna go read read some guides to see if they offer spell advice for hunting around level 30ish

for the most part 702 is going to be the best choice simply because of mana concerns. I never found going to 705 to be useful other than reading different text. If you are trained in spell aim, you can just used focused implosion. That will speed things up and if you already have half a mind, you should be able to fry before you run out of mana.

Generally I have a 702 macro (incant 702\r ), a 703 macro (prep 703\r cast\r), a 706 macro (incant 706\r), a 708 macro (inc 708\r) by default i have my AIM set to the r arm. then either a 709/410 macro. Depending on the hunting area i may have my macros target specific creatures (cast second troll, cast third troll...etc).

Overall thats pretty much it.

While leveling, I normally would use 702 until i fried the first time, then just implode things on subsequent hunts.

Add 111 in there, especially if you're hunting the glacier. Skeletal ice trolls out the IMT west gate are pretty easy to one-shot with it.

The titans can be 1-shot with 719 sometimes. 705 is stronger against undead than 702, but 702 tends to work best against living and stunnable targets. If you have spell aiming, aim leg, 708 target, stance offensive, channel 702. Can swap 708 for 709 if no spell aiming.

Two (or four with web and disintigrate incant set bolt) alias for AS after typing "tar rat"

Bale = stance off\rinc 713\rstance def

Burn = stance off\rinc 111\rstance def

Fft = stance off\rinc 118\rstance def

Ray = stance off\rinc 705\rstance def

For animates,

Guard = tell ani to guard

Ani (target) = tell ani to attack \?\r

Knockdowns (holdover from quake and self targetting to avoid targetting non-magical accidently)

Q = prep 709\rcast my slipper
