So, figures that as soon as I sell my segment I find the legendary bloodrune...

This aquamarine bloodrune is of the legendary tier. Using PUSH (pendant) while holding a polished aquamarine bloodrune you can add it to the pendant. Likewise, you can PULL (pendant) to remove a bloodrune that has been added. Speak to the dwarven archaeologist around the Underground Temple of Bloodriven Village for more information.

You get no sense of whether or not the bloodrune may be further lightened.

Through a (pendant color) haze, (your name here)'s features appear transformed into those of a cave troll.Towering above most giantmen, his/her hulking stature alone is intimidating. Wide splits in his/her grey leathery skin sprout tufts of coarse dark hair, and rows of oversized fangs protrude from his/her mouth, forcing his/her lips into a permanent menacing grin. An overwhelming stench of decay lingers around him/her.

I think it may have been me. That rune looks really familiar, and I didn't know what they were the first two nights. Asked on merchant and was told I could archaeologist everything but the golvern segments, so I sold about 8 stones.

He said they trashed it several days after they got it.. So if you didn't do that it wasn't you. Plus you would have to be lucky enough to get it in the first place to then be stupid enough to get rid of it.

Yeah, that description fits me pretty well. It was the several days later thing that I keyed on. I held them for two days, then asked about what to sell to the archaeologist, got rid of a bunch on the third day. :P

I wish they'd come out with some "nice" looking ones too but this is probably my favorite legendary rune so far. Congratulations. =)

im not one bit interested in any of the pendents/segments/bloodrunes . i didnt spend 14 years collecting and spending somewhere near 50m-100m in gear just to hide it all with some silly glamour crystal . Maybe next time they will release ones that only change your appearance and leave your clothing/gear visable , only then i might be somewhat interested is them . But until then they might as well be smooth stones , hence why i havent done the sewers the last 2 years

Pretty cool as a thief as they hide your hands, but thief mechanics aren't much fun at present.

I still like the pendants though I would have preferred to see them with more genre type descriptions. Hoods, cloaks, etc. An ability to present your appearance in a creative manner. Perhaps even the ability to select what's visible and what is not of items you are wearing, while at the same time offering a bit of pendant embellishment.

Still, they are a fun item, but a touch overpriced. IMO Artificially set by the mechanic of obtaining them rather then in game desirability as presently designed.

Maybe you should declare a restart of the auction to make it less overpriced for yourself. Also, was the GM that made this named Bessie? That's very insensitive to dark elves/cows.

Personally I think you shouldn't be able to see through the glamour. People should look at you and see a troll. Your name in the room description and your messaging should be a cave troll. Seen GMs running around as talking npc troll kings before. Why can't we do that?

You see a Cave Troll enter the room.
A Cave Troll kicks you in the shin and steals all your silvers.
A Cave Troll skips merrily out of the room.

I would also second the cute bloodrunes for next time. Or even sexy ones... Need a siren or a succubus. I would make a bald, fat half-krolvin and wear the crystal. Then pull it off and be like bam!
