Happy New Year folks! We just had ours, and since its mine and George's first home together an' all we did this weird Scotish Tradition called First footing.

Well Happy New Year from us in GMT to those who aren't!

Happy New Year to you too! We still have 6 hours to go and it's the first for me and my baby girl to share even though I'm sure she'll be asleep by midnight.

Usually, I just fight to stay awake til midnight, say Happy New Year to the dog, and go to bed. :lol:

It's Argentine. It's not really my tradition as much as it is my Latin mom's. And since I'm home for new years, I figured I might as well subscribe to this voodoo.

Japanese tradition we drink a sip of sake and eat certain foods that are supposed to bring "Good Luck". Last year I went to my friends parents and they made me drink a little sake even though I was 4 months pregnant. :rolleyes:

This year I'm going back for more.
