Old armor into new armor.

I have a set of the old Ta'Nalfein brig, and was curious if I could transfer the altered show on to a new set of better brig. It would be the same material etc and no scripts or slots transferred, just the show. Would this be possible, I'd even be willing to forfeit the old set.

Is the show of the old brig against current alter rules? Seems to me I've seen a fair amount of culture specific alters floating around.
