Ranger Hurling Options...

Hi,

I recently have returned after a 2 year break. Before I left I started working on a pure hurling ranger.

He uses a handaxe bandolier.

But i wanted to know if there are some other good hurling weapon options and what mechanics work with rangers. I believe for warriors and paladins for example, they can use weapon bonding for hurling.

What about returners? Do those work for all classes or just war/pal?
What about weapon chain? Is that a good hurling mechanic?

I'm thinking I need something heavier duty for various armor types where the handaxe will be too week, or if they dont have eyes. Oh also, if i ever want to hunt undead something that can be blessed or hit undead would be great too.

Any suggestions? I'm looking for high-end with something to benefit hurling mechanics, so not just any old weapon. Ie. returner/chain/etc.

I know most would go rogue/paly for a pure hurler, but I wanted to do something more "unique". Hence going ranger.

Anyways, I'm thinking a returner is the best acompanyment to my handaxe bando. Assuming a ranger can use a returner?
