Need help with a bit of code

Ok so I'm trying to write a bit of code that checks the primary noun of an arena combatant entering the arena and does different things based on what it is. Anyone willing to take a look at what I put together and see:

1. if it works
2. if it's broken at any point
3. is mana and spirit safe?
