New Year's Plans?

So what are your plans for New Year's Eve this year? Here in good old Las Vegas, I have to work, but not until 1am. That means I CAN go out, but I CAN'T drink. My friend Lisa is flying in today and we're going to go out Saturday night instead.

We're planning to avoid the Strip, which they close down completely and is overrun with like 500,000 drunks groping each other at midnight. I'm hoping something really cool happens at work, like an Ocean's - 11 style heist (except we catch the guys instead of getting pwnZ0rated).

One of the managers at work is a huge Iowa fan and his basement is called "The Hawk's Nest". I'm going over his house for about a 50 person party. Apparently he makes his own schnaps (that's what he calls it). He takes Everclear, adds that to a watermelon for a day then drains the watermelon, and everyone has mad hangovers.

I'm not sure if I want a mad hangover, but should be an interesting party. And of course all day football the next day.

Me and a friend of mine are throwing a party at my apartment. It's going to be a "high society" party, and we are all going to dress up nice and drink champagne and smoke cigars and stuff like that. We are also going to have another party at my friends apartment (in the same building, next door) that is "out of character" so to speak, with Halo and normal party music and stuff like that. It should be fun.

Get off of work 1am EST
Get home 1:15am EST
Start drinking beer and playing Xbox 1:20am EST
Go to bed 5am EST
Get woken up by kid screaming her head off 9am EST
Go buy more beer and a bottle of Dom 12pm EST
Continue to drink 12:30pm EST
Anything after that, I won't predict and I'll state right now, I'm not responsible for my actions either.

My friends managed to convince me it would be a great idea to go to a club, I'm really not a club person but since its NYE I couldn't say no. I shall be drinking a lot of vodka and probably dancing the night away like a proper chav. We have a big family thing on new years day though so I can't be too hungover!

Normally I would be the designated driver, since I only drink a couple... but since the baby thing.. and complications made me blind in one eye, I dont get to drink.. or drive.

But I will be venturing out of my house to be social for the first time since the eye thing.. which has been over a month, so that in itself is a celebration for me! So heres to sparkling grape juice, 2005, and the appearance of my little one! Its going to be an amazing year

Hope you all have just as much to look forward to as I do, and that you drink a couple for me!

So Rachel and I decided to go to Toronto instead of New York city... and let me say we had the most amazing time EVER. We stayed at a 4 star hotel (the sutton place) went to the biggest club in Toronto (Club Lucid) then on the way home we saw signs for Niagra falls... decided to go there then saw the casino there so we saw the falls then gambled at the casino for a bit then came home. Most amazing time EVER I'll post pictures of my trip later...
