How often does this flare, and how hard a dispel is it? I don't know shit about magic but I've seen like single spell dispels and full dispells, though that could be based on a roll maybe?

It dispels up to 5 spells on a caster or on a headbutt per wyrom, but I haven't tried the headbutt yet.

What an ... interesting helmet. Do people actually headbutt? Does it block any spells cast on the wearer?

I use kroderine full plate + headbutt in this way, which is great fun against casters. Strips spells and auto head damages them. Specifically I often use it for cerebralites up in the Rift to strip off their cloak of shadows before braining them (no pun intended).

no, it has a normal flaring frequency like any other armor flare. If it doesn't flare the first time, at least I put a head wound on them.
