If I had a choice between getting crit weighting or flares added to my morningstar which should I get? The flares are double flaring plasma. Is there a break point where getting crit weighting is flat better?

Well, weighting is on every swing.

Well, weighting is on every swing.

This is true and you get the crit added damage as well. Flares just seem useful when you're barely able to hit something but even then I've seen my claidhmores kill on endrolls of 110.

Weighting on light weight weapons may not have as much actual effect as the potential in double plasma flares. It really comes down to a fighting "style" preference.

I guess I want to chip away at critters and work with lower endrolls for the majority of my time in combat. Not sure which is more suited for a one handed weapon in such a case crit weighting below exceptional or double plasma flares?

I also realize this isn't ideal especially at later levels where killing quickly dangerous critters is the best route.

What weapon base?

What weapon base?

Morningstar, swing at the base due to my agi dex singling in MoC.

Double plasma from bonding? What weighting options are even available (assuming Duskruin?).

Heavy morningstar vs double plasma on open MOC low-end rolls may be too close to call.
