I'm new at this and Headless is not a super high wizard but he can do 5x consistently. It must be a blessable, not anything requiring more special attention. He has two Gifts of Eonak for the cast (raises odds considerably for success on enchant). It will be about a week or less to do it. This is my first professional enchant and I'm charging a fairly modest sum.

Yeah, what he said, 4x-5x is going to take you closer to 4-5 weeks even with water lore.

You just did the first cast then. It takes 5 pours and 5 casts for 4x to 5x

So... you should perhaps do a little reading before beginning enchanting. As mentioned, you likely still have your high enchantment slot filled if you attempted a 4x-5x enchant and only went through one pour. You will need to either finish your currently project, which will take roughly a month, or detemper your current project.
Enchanting is not a speedy process. They're going to have to make a lot more changes than the new "buff" via water lore. Right now it takes roughly a month to take an item from 4x-5x. ( ie. you pour, wait several days til the temper is ready, cast, then pour again... rinse and repeat)

Well it wont be a month, its 2 days per pour for Headless. So I guess he has about a week left. I forgot about the multiple pour/cast thing, my other wiz did that in PLat.
Ososis seems content to wait a week. thanks

A little bit suspect that any wizard could do a major enchant in a week. But, please write back on your results here, I'am very interested.

Yea, something seems a bit off on your time. My Wizard is capped and just did a 4x - 5x enchant which was 4-5 days per pour x5. But, if that's what you get, then excellent! Do you infuse potions or something?

I still think your math is way off. 2 days per pour on 5x is not right unless you're using water lore, and I'm going to take a guess that you're not.

Every 325 mana points from the wizard's stored mana will reduce a temper potion time by 1 percent and every 200 mana points can substitute as 1 lore rank for infusing elemental pre-temper potions.
The SENSE verb has been updated to reveal more clues to the mana flows surrounding the wizard. Once a wizard has achieved level 25, learned the spell Enchant Item (925) and has at least 5 ranks of Elemental Lore, Water; they will begin to accrue stored mana in their own personal mana pool. Further bonuses to speed up the accumulation of mana points follow a seed 5 summation. F2P wizards do not have stored mana pools. Every 30 of base experience absorbed will result in 1 mana point at 5 ranks of Elemental Lore, Water.
The maximum amount of mana that can be stored per week is 10,000, and a grand total of 35,000 mana points can be stored.

so....yeah, it's not possible to get multiple temper times of 2 days on 4-5x in a week.

It's possible if you have potions stored up, but that seems highly unlikely.

I didn't take that into account, but I would assume that's not the case.
