He is a wrecking ball for sure. Plus the group benefits from his spells make him a must have for end game areas. Hunts SoS with very little issue. Grim are a joke. Reim is cake!

Sorcs ensorcell ability is a straight money maker. At 4-8m a month on top of any hunting and loot is a pretty sweet deal.
I feel like this guy went super cheap, but you can't really compare a home to a business based on square footage.
