Hi.

It is possessed by devils.

It is scrolling across the screen on its own.

I forked over mad bucks and got a new mouse.

It is still moving around.

How do I fix this problem, could it be virus related?

Probably a prank program. Restart your computer in safe mode, that will probably fix it and you'll know what it is. Could be a faulty card, but I doubt it.

Figured.. Run MSCONFIG. Click Selective Service. Go to services tab. Click "HIDE ALL MICROSOFT PROGRAMS" then when they are all hidden, click DISABLE ALL. Then go to the start up tab, click DISABLE ALL. (Click on the few programs you want to run like AIM or whatever, nothing you aren't 100% sure about though) then restart. That should fix the problem because it's probably just a stupid prank program.

See if you can locate the program and delete it. If you can't find anything, run your antivirus.

How do I make the message from MSCONFIG go away after it reboots?

I'm not sure what you mean:

Do you mean for it not to pop up after every reboot?

Yah.

When you first restart your computer it's going to give you a box that says:

"You use system config to make a change....

A whole bunch of other shit.

Click this box to not show this message or launch this program when your computer restarts"

Click the box.

No, because that means you made a change, and that window will pop up again.
