Alright, so Jolena is 48 trains and I'm considering making some changes to her training plan for variety as well as effectiveness. I'd like some opinions/advice from others who've tried the things I'm considering please!

Training Points: 0 Phy 0 Mnt (182 Mnt converted to Phy)

15.8K to go to next level, almost completely trained for level 49 already though.

Here's what I'm considering. I have stamina issues with guild things and Stunseed was advising to lower my shield, which is 1.5x now, to 1x. Putting those points into doubling PF (instead of singling) which would help me out with more redux (40% currently) and helping me dodge by using a smaller shield. He said the dodge DS would help make up for the DS I'd lose by lowering my shield ranks.

OR

TWC:

30 ranks armor, 2x edged,2x twc,2x dodge,2x ambush,2x CM, 2x PF, 2x perception, 1.5x hiding, 1x survival, .8x climbing/swimming.

4 points left MTP's and 15K to go to train. Fully trained but for 2 ranks of PF for my next level already.

(Those figures above are what I found I could do when going into the skills manager and altering things.)

Any ideas or thoughts?

BTW, right now I have a medium 9x shield, FGB, a 7x lightning flaring altered khopesh, a 4x knife and a 4x/5x dagger based Shadow blade.

My DS is a bit over 450 in Defensive now, 313 in offensive, and my AS is 377 with sidebyside, COL signs and strength.

I also am mastered in Smastery for hiding skills.

Also, i have constant access to 400's, 500's, 600's, 900's, 100's and 200's. (spell circles)

With TWC, you won't be able to uphunt as effectively as is desired because the chance of a successful swing of the second weapon goes down as a critter's level increases your own.

Personally (and I'm biased), I'd go THW. With the access to all the spell circles you've got, you'd have absolutely no trouble with DS and pack quite the punch.

Hmm..yeah see there is my main issue. I love to powerhunt with Stun and I am normally in an area that is 10-15 trains above my level and I do rather well. However, I'm the type that likes to switch things up so I don't get bored. I just dunno what to do lol

Any thoughts on the first option though? The one Stun recommended for my shield/PF adjustments?

THW is what I would go for. Very lethal if you can ambush well.

Sounds like a good suggestion to me.

The shield thing is doable, there are some equations floating around that would tell you exactly where you stand based on the shield/dodge question, but generally more shield training means go for a larger shield, more dodge go for smaller shield. You are doubling in dodge and 1.5 in shield, drop to 1x shield and get a buckler. You can trim up some other skills and get maybe 2.5 dodge but with all the spells you have access to its not needed (at all really, go TWC or THW).

You can possibly trim some ambush too, don't always need to 2x it to ambush. Course it could play another role but I've had no problem getting pushdown hunting at or above my level.

While TWC is viable normally, its easier in your situation with all those spells, and TWC actually ends up being more consistent for an ambusher firstly because you have two hits, but also becuse on a miss you can still randomly hit the target area. Also rogues generally don't have to worry about all the wonky AS calcs since DEX is usually pretty damn high to begin with. (And as with shields you don't *have* to double train to be effective.)
