I can't say with any authority since I've only really played clerics. Dabbled with other professions but cleric was my first and only love.

any spirit spell accessible halfling (cleric, empath, ranger, sorc, monk to a lesser degree)

Anyone can get their DS to acceptable levels solo and their AS/CS/UAF high enough to kill shit regardless of race/class combo.

Spirit spells for STD

Halfling for h4x ETD. Done and done.

Probably ranger, but the question is somewhat vague as to "self sufficient". Outside spells or no? Items and scrolls or no? Etc.

Also no tacos.

I'd say Sorcerer. They have all bases covered.

I have the most experience with a ranger, but wizards and sorcerers are pretty up there too.

I thought it did unless you were 2x in perception?
