I'm not a doctor, but since those shields are made out of vultute, and there is no wording saying it is sanctified, I personally would not think that that the eonake rivets would cut it.

They are, in fact, sanctified. They were sold off the shelf at EG last year and I've been enchanting a few of them up in my spare time.
