View Full Version : Where should I hunt with around 50-55 Trains?

I'm sorry if this has been posted many of times, I've tried to search the forums for posts like this but the searching isn't the most advanced. I'm looking for a place to hunt that's around 50 trains that isn't undead (none of my weapons are bless-able and I can never remember what is and what isn't) I've looked around in the Bestiary but everything seems to be either undead (or mixed with it) or crazy difficult for my training (glacial morphs and animated slushes). Am I just going to have to suck it up and dig around for bless-able weapons (and then keep them blessed) or should I just stick to the faeroths and grind it out until the next tier of critters?
Thank you ahead of time for any tips.
P.S for the sake of conversation I'm a duel-wielding, ambushing, rogue

Have you tried black ogres? Stone Valley is good for that level too, trolls and giants.

Hmmm, I'll give it a shot...I'm only 50 trains so it may be outside of my range but it's worth a shot. Thank you for the reply

Krag yetis are best to hunt in a group. That way you can ask the other person to lead and then on the way there you can be all like "ARE WE THERE YETI?!" and then start laughing at your own joke and then they leave you and you have to find your way back to town by yourself and you don't get any experience. It's like the easiest hunt ever.

I did those levels in Illistim, and Faeroths were some of the easiest things! Near the same level are the things up in Gossamer Valley. It's cccccold and windy, and takes a weapon with fire to hit two of the three creatures in there, but that was do-able, too. You'll need fire flares in your weapon or fire magic, plus weather resistance.
The Black Forest came next. It was at first quite a challenge, but once I got the poison figured out from the vipers, that was rich pickings, I milked that as long as I could.
Those were GREAT levels. If you can skin, the Faeroths are good money, don't ask me what, I don't skin.

I 100% appreciate all the answers...I've been hunting Faeroths and Voraz and they are super easy, was looking to branch out a bit but I'll probably stick with them for another train or two and then move on. Thanks again.

I'd also recommend the first level of the red forest. You can access an instance from Vaalor if you want to try it out.

Just make sure you don't go in the second ring unless you like dying or are amazing vs maneuvers.
