I just found out that I am extended from Jan 6th to Jan 29th
I am so happy to spend more than 365 days deployed :rolleyes:

Ouch! Sorry to hear that TOJ. I guess you can be thankful it's not for a longer period of time, but it still sucks. :(

We got to pound pickets and fill sandbags after a 16 hour mission for xmas. yayy!!!!

Thanks to all of you who are out there, away from home, doing what you do for your country. While it would be much better if you were home with your families, what you do is appreciated. :)

He could be extended indefinately, in times of war...
Good thing there is an internet, imagine all the guys in WWI or II that were extended for years. Or more to the point guys that have spent their whole life in service.

actually the army has changed back to a campaign army with the focus of modular components called UAs or units of actions
I have a huge officer professional development class that I have if anyone is that interested
