A few months ago a peahen wandered through our backyard.
She hopped over our neighbor's fence and kept going, and we thought that was interesting but fleeting.
However, she returned a few weeks later and took an interest in our banty chickens - she hopped onto their pen and looked down and paced.
I tossed her a few grapes and she came over for them - now she lives here and I have a new avatar. I advertised widely but no one claimed her.
