I live in Iowa. We have not had any real snow this year, yet you're getting some in Houston?!? I agree, the world is ending!

Jorddyn, wants a white Christmas

exactly

Its been 80 degrees for the past week. I think we deserve the snow. We boil all year round and now on Xmas too.

I've been told I can attribute that to something called El Nino.

That's wild, I called my husband to tell him. He moved here to OH almost 2 years ago, he hated the TX heat.

Yeah, I've got a co-worker calling in from Dallas who in the middle of our management meeting went "Holy Crap, it's Snowing here!"

Took me 1 hour and 15 minutes to drive home from work, it's usually a 30 min drive door to door.

More coming, thank goodness I'm off tomorrow.

Snow sucks. Actually, I'd rather have to drive in 10 inches of snow than deal with 9 degree and lower temps.

How you can be glad that it's snowing is beyond me!

Hah it's 30 degrees here and we have a few feet of snow. I'd be happy to send it all down your way.

Hehe. Two words only. HOUSTON WEATHER. Translated from the language of the local primitive tribes means "Heat of hell 365 days with exception of one month of a windy damp chill'.

So yes, Im going to be gitty about a few snowflakes falling from the sky. I might even lay down and attempt to make snow/mud angels.

It hasn't been 80, and they said it MIGHT snow. I heard on the radio yesterday that it wasn't definite.

And if it does snow, it totally better snow in southeast Houston or I'll sue God.

It felt like 80. You sure? Thats what I heard. And it just got cold several days ago. Lovely weather right now.

Lovely? If by lovely you mean crappy.

It was entirely too cold today.

I haven't seen snow here in Huntsville (Texas) in forever, I would love for my neice and nephew to see it... maybe even enough for a snowball or two.

That just sucks ass.

We had a big snow on Thanksgiving, two days later you couldn't see any sign of it.

We've had some minor flurries since, but nothing that accumulated.

It blows that 40 miles east of us they had to salt the roads and plow. 60 miles west they still have an inch or two on the ground. We don't have anything but frozen brown lawns.

Now we've got the bitter cold. -10 wind chill ... that's just malicious. Give me some fucking snow for the trouble.

I live in Deer Park, a little bit east of Houston itself, and we're getting snow now. It's almost sticking, but not really... Anyway, here's what it looks like in front of my house at the moment.

IT SNOWED!!

:spaz:

We got flurries near I-10 at the office around noon. I came home to Spring (Northern Houston Suburb) around 8 pm riding all the way with my windows down and my hand out the window. I felt like such a nerd but it made my day!

Well, since they said on the news it hasn't snowed here for seventeen years, I figure I won't get a chance to do this again any time soon. So here he is, Jimmy the retarded snowman in all his glory!

I remember it snowing in Texas when we were stationed near El Paso. We had just transfered from Washington.

I was 4 years old at the time and thrilled. Everyone else freaked out and everything was closing down.

Bunch a goofs.

My husbands family lives in Harlingen which is near the border and even steamier than Houston. They got 2 inches of snow on Friday. So jealous. :grr:
