Its not too unusual to run out of mana at that early level. There is a spell with 0 mana cost called Arcane Blast (1700), the trade off is hard round time to cast the spell.

Whirlin has a great guide that very comprehensive you can use to look closer at training paths:

Hope that helps!

You sound like you're brand new to GS. In addition to reading a guide, I strongly suggest ringing the bell at Silverwood Manor and talking to a Mentor in game.

Locations are as follows:

In Wehnimer's Landing, east of the temple in Erebor Square.
In Icemule Trace, north and west of Town Center, on Cursed Street.
In Ta'Vaalor, at the west end of town, on Geaislt Wey.
In Kharam Dzu, two blocks north and two blocks east of the statue, on Golvern Street.

or type DIR SILVERWOOD in game while in one of those towns.

Just remember, if you ring the bell at Silverwood and Maags answers it, run. She's only a member so that she can lure new players away and then drain all their juices and then use them as pillows in her dungeon of horrors.

Hello there, and welcome! I will make an effort this weekend to charge some wands I have lying around. That way it can help you advance a bit more quickly when you run low on mana. I definitely recommend reading Whirlin's wizard guide. If you have any other specific questions, I can also answer anything when I'm around, and can be found in game as Aetheri.

If you run out of mana, you can always use the spell 1700 (it's not often documented) which is equivalent of 901, but has a high, hard RT

Mana issues are normal for low level wizards. It will get much better as you level up though.

In the meantime, stockpile any silver/iron/aquamarine/golden/metal/blue/crystal wands you find. They come with 10 charges, but can be duplicated by a wizard and also charged to 40 charges by a wizard.

I should be in the Landing for a day or two sometime this week. If you see me around, hit me up and I'll charge up some wands for you.

Also if you haven't yet, download and install Lich.

The person who posts next will tell you all about Lich.

Am I the only one who watched Whirlin's videos in fullscreen and tried scrolling up more than once?
