So I saw in the mechanics section people talking about hurling as a spec for pallies.

How big is this? I am super intrigued and could envision rolling a dwarf pally throwing axes or something but how practical is it mechanically? Could a seasoned pally hurler provide some insights, some perks and then the woes?

I know I'm late with this thread.

The biggest problem with hurling is that the system is really bad unless you have 'toys' - like returners or bandoliers. You will lose weapons often, they will be hidden out of sight, you'll be 'too far' to pick them up so will have pauses.

That being said, I like hurling and it's a fun, effective, and efficient hunting method.

I ended up finding a returner javelin and must say it's quite fun to play with. Thoigh, I don't know of many others like it.
