Back from hiatus - Help?

Hello all, back from a long time hiatus. Also not even sure what I was doing before I left as far as goals.

1.)
I'm currently ambushing OHE w/shield. The shield confuses me as it shows as a "wall shield" but inspects as a medium shield. I assume the inspect is the important part for shield focus?

You carefully inspect your vultite shield.

2.) Notes:
- I tend to pick what I hunt and don't care too much about picking above for others at the moment.
- I enjoy ambush style when hunting.
- I really like having at least 403, but I could drop it and work into it later.
- I must have been concerned about wearing plate ASAP before as I'm wearing a breastplate. I ambush with a 6sec RT.
- I assume my stats are hardcore messed up? Not the slightest clue anymore.

1) you can convert your wall shield to an actual tower-sized shield if you really want to via a shield conversion booth

2) your training is fine, but I think you already know your stats aren't optimized.

I'm hoping that the shield is actually being considered a medium shield for mfocus.

Will probably figure a fixstat maybe around lvl 50 or so.

I wouldn't worry about the stats right now. You're actually getting more TP in the long run with less-than optimized stats. You can fix stay at or near cap. I'd say drop dodging to single and put the extra in PF for general well-being against manuevers and increased stamina. You could also consider more cman
