Weird there isn't a thread already.
I started watching when I saw the score at the end of regulation. I knew Atlanta blew a big lead, but man. That's gotta be a tough one for Falcons fans.

I don't care very much about football, but the game was very exciting game. Unfortunately outcome for Atlanta, giving away such a huge lead. Cheers for multiple records broken though.

Always hated NFL OT. Wish they'd use the full field as they do now, but adapt colleges system for scoring. Everyone has a chance until they fail, because basically in the current, you win the toss you win the game.

I love that I got to see both teams lose though. Bilichick was crying at the 25 point deficit.

Wasn't that changed this year to at least be more fair? Maybe last year?
Now if you only get a field goal, the opposition has the chance to respond. It's only a TD that would end the game. Although, I still see an argument in allowing the opposition to respond with a drive.

Would be edgier with a drive. Fun game though, either way.

OT only exists this way because of the Vikings. Our curse continues, but Brady...I told people dont..ever..bet..against..him. That was perhaps the most transcendent 2 quarters of football.
That catch. Wow.
Gaga nailed halftime too.

My Super Bowl story:
Woke up with a very sore neck on Saturday. Was supposed to work Sunday but it was still so sore I could hardly turn it to the right so I called in sick. Today I'm getting shit from coworkers who are convinced I called in so I could stay home and watch the Super Bowl.
I didn't call in when the Seahawks were in the Super Bowl so why the fuck would I for the Falcons/Pats game?
The end.
P.S. I did watch the game but that's incidental.

Yea.. I get the sudden death and all, but for playoffs and especially the Superbowl, there should be an additional 15 minute quarter and it should be played out like normal.

Ha, nice.
Montana: "Hey Tom, I never lost a Super Bowl."
Brady: "That's great Joe. I never went one-and-done four times in the playoffs"
