Armor overtraining or Armored Evasion - Which comes first?

So over training in armor will reduce your action penalty with a cap at 50%. Armored Evasion will reduce your AP by [Rank * (7 - Armor Group)] / 2.

Does anyone know the order of these things? Does evasion lower AP after over training benefits or is it the other way around? Is the 50% cap your initial AP or the number altered by armored evasion?

Can't get more ranks in armor skills without more training in armor, so not really sure what you are asking

They're asking for the order of operations for the reduction, you know...what they typed.

does armored evasion give you a 50% reduction of your base ap, or does it give you a 50% reduction of your overtrained AP.

i.e. if your base action penalty is 20 (making number up), and you have have overtraining to reduce it by 2 to 18, do you get: 20*.5 = 10 - 2 = 8 as your final AP, or do you get (20 -2) *.5 = 9 as your final AP

Using the 50% probably makes this a little confusing. The wiki states that Every 50 ranks acquired above the minimum ranks required to train off Roundtime penalties will result in an Action Penalty reduction of (Armor Group - 1). If you look at the armor use chart on the wiki for overtraining you'll see how much your armor hinders you at thresholds of 50 rank multiples higher than base trained. You can then look at the armored evasion benefits to see how much further you can lower those values to a base of 0 AP. Double chain is the heaviest armor you can get to 0 though aug chain at -1 AP is pretty nice too. Obviously if you aren't capped you'll be making do with a bit less.
