And seriously, why not just give everyone 10k experience and 200k silvers instead of having a 100+ queue. It is outrageous for everyone in game have to assist and request something like that. Save the assists for people who lost items or something else of similar magnitude.

Tilmont told me that he could corroborate what I was missing with logs of his own, and as far as I'm concerned he was telling the truth. It was painless. I was 46th in the premium queue and it took about 40 minutes until he showed up. I lost 4.1k exp like 8kish silver and like 36k fame. He gave me 5k exp, 8.5k silver and 36k fame. Took about a minute and a half to do that.

I have to check and see if the sack I swaped to one character early in the day is still on the original character or if its missing.

I don't understand why they even let GH's answer assists if they couldn't fix it. In my mind, it would make a lot more sense to have GM's answer every assist; if it was for a non-crash matter, call a GH. How hard could that be?

The referral que's show EVERYONE who has one pending not just the ones on line.

So you can be 72 and it may only take 30 minuites cause no one else is in game.

or maybe only 1 Gm can handle your situation so they jump right to you.

People like me. I'm not CE trained. I was a host for two years so I know most of the deal.

I can handle searching logs and discovering what was lost/claimed lost during the crash and then returning the appropriate stuff.

That means of the ::runs to check the queue verb:: 133 referrals pending, I can grab the crash replacement stuff. Also, of that 133 pending there are only 16 online waiting. So, things will move.

Sadly, I am at work, so no helping out for me, but still. I think we're doing an OK job all things considered.

Well I got my stuff back for Eider and was just talking to a GH about my paladin and lost exp etc etc when the game crashed

My replacement was quick and painless. The host just asked how much exp I had lost so I told her roughly what I thought it was and asked about getting the fame replaced too. Both were done really quickly. All looks about right so no big deal in the end! :)

Mine went really fast. A GM answered it and did the fix right then; I had included the amount of exp/silver loss in my assist reason, so that probably helped to speed the process up. But it only took a few seconds since someone showed up before I was taken care of.

The assist queue looks like it's dwindled some, but the refer one is still way up there; I feel bad for the GMs who are working to get it down again. The sheer mass of staff members mobilizing to take care of them last night was very impressive.

I'll agree with Tilmont. I'll also say that I've been very impressed to see so many people putting in overtime to see that things are taken care of. Some people I saw working at least 5 hours straight. Still had people coming in today to make sure things were done.

I'm also glad to see the attitude of the assistees when we saw them. I've yet to have one person unhappy when I got to them. Most were very nice and understanding of the situation. A number, in fact, were a bit embarrassed to take up our time, as they put it.

I'll just say that I didn't take this position to sit up in some sort of tower and flaunt any sort of perceived authority. I love helping you guys, and that's what I do. Don't think that you're taking up our time if you really need help, as in what happened yesterday. If you need help, by all means ASSIST. That's what we're here for.

The GMs and GHs kicked major ass. I assisted twice, once cause I found out something tonight I didn't get yesterday. First time was a half hour, tonight mebbe 10 minutes. I got fixed up right quick, no hassles or BS.
