The Fortuneer storyline is a long running affair stretching across several towns. It has to do with the Krolvin invasions some time ago, and was seemingly put on hold for a time. Those at the core of the storyline have (somewhat) patiently waited for it to come to it's fruition, which seems to have arrived.

To stay on topic: Fuck these people though, as they probably caused the crash.

At least bring out Animate Dead to make me feel better. Fuck.

Anyhow... I was hunting and supposing I die as a result of the crash, I assume I am shit outta luck right? The GMs wont restore anyone as a result of a crash will they?

It was just hooded figures... which its like impossible to die there, except if you are totally afk..


Also... the website is now saying all games are available, and yet I am still not able to log in to GS4... Do they just THINK they have it fixed?

They might raise you, similar has happened to me in the past. Back in GS3 I've had the deed replaced etc.

Storylines in Gemstone now are a huge waste of fuckin time now anyways.

They start out moderately decent then after a month, take a huge suckslide for about 2-5 years until it flops into a pile of 'the shittiest endin ever'...then the next piece of shit quest/event happens.

It's gotten to the point where I'm almost embarrassed for them when they try to do another storyline.

What the fuck is your fuckity secret for not dying? Unless you go and get a ton of blues and such, my wizard overhunts in there and died a few times, ain't a damn thing he could do about sorc neck crits. That is short of spending half my life begging spells.

Although I ain't complaining with a node that close I got some damn good exp gain, and I hunted them starting at ~20th.

Sigh, I would put up a strong defense, but I simply have heard this comment too many times to say it isn't true. I personally enjoyed the Fortuneer/Krolvin storyline as Dighn, specifically the RR Occupation. I have heard mixed reviews of the events upon Teras, though I know atleast some of the people enjoyed the occasion.

Once Sankir pulled back to his island, the even seemed to stall. I was not following the SL closely, as I no longer played the character involved. My guess is that staff were pulled off of it to support the many RSN's and HSN's and various other recent festivals. The people involved were the driving force in having this event come to its final conclusion. It just sucks that it had to be interrupted with crashes.

I think GS has been down more in the last month than WoW has, and WoW is still working out the bugs from being released a month ago. GS had what, a 15 year advantage?(dont bitch about my timeline, I played for 4 years, since the ICE age). Anyway I havent looked back since I bought WoW, someday I might look to see if GS is still around but for the time being my addiction has been directed to WoW.

WTF, so I lose about everything I gained since I have been back, how are they going to know exactly what to replace? And how many weeks will it take to even talk to everyone affected.

What is wrong with Simutronics? Do they not keep the hardware up to date? They must be using the same gimped system they started with to have the lack of stability they do.

Perhaps its harder for certain professions, but I am currently using a lvl 32 sorcerer to hunt the figures. Do I really need to say more? Its a piece of cake, quick fry.. and fair loot, already made over 500k within the time it took me to gain 38k exp. Was getting about 3k exp an hour until I lost my exp thingy I got when I reactivated the account.

I am still trying to learn the new GS4 changes and everything. But even using the same methods from 2 years ago, I have absolutely no problems. The only spell I have seen that they can ward me with is 703, which isnt harmful. Other than that, the only worries are dispel and ewave. Just recast what is dispelled etc.. ewave is a joke unless there is a swarm.

I have yet to see the sheruvians, its been a while, what level are they? Casters or swingers etc?
