There is a cart in the Small Park in Wehnimer's Landing selling the pourable poisons as of Saturday evening. It'll stay in place for a few weeks. READ the cart to see the strength and # of doses per vial/etc., and so that you're not guessing after purchasing, the vials have a short read that in part designates the strength of the poison (via roman numerals), and you can use MEASURE to see the remaining number of doses. Huge thanks to Coase for the quick approval & Aulis for QCing lickety-split for me!

If for any reasons these are not the type of poisons you were looking for, speak up!

On the white ash cart you see a jet skull-painted vial, a gold-swirled scarlet phial, a matte cloudy grey ampule, a deep violet crystalline flask, a slender brass vial, a bright pink heart-shaped flask and a pale lemon-hued vial.

Can these be put on arrows?

Or is this an RP tool?

these are for poison weapons. More specifically, there are a few different version of weapons that can be filled with these vials. Once filled, they will flare on each hit and use up some of the poison that fills them. Neat concept, some of the poisons can be very strong (50 per)

These poisons should (haven't gotten to testing yet, still have a lot of poison in my weapon to get through) be ideal for filling the poison holding weapons (specifically sold on the Dhu Gillywack, there may be other variations out there since then).

I'm stoked. I've been working on searching for poisons for the falcata for some time. A few folks were able to sell me some poisons from years back they still had from the Dhu Gillywack, but I've only been able to buy a handful. I'm sure there are a few folks out there with similar weapons that can make use.

a sweeping jagged vultite falcata - this is the one I have. 4x falchion.
A small stud is imbedded into the base of the vultite falcata. The vultite falcata is covered in foul-smelling murky umber oil.
Glancing carefully at the falcata, you see it has 9 doses remaining within.

POUR poison on weapon to fill it
When the current dose runs out, TOUCH weapon to get another stored dose to start working on it.

The weapon appears to flare the same as normal flaring weapons, so every 4-5 swings. It doesn't show how much damage the target takes, but it will vary depending on the strength of the poison - should be anywhere from a few points of damage a round to upwards 50 points. Exact amounts would need to be tested with players.

Here's a couple of flares I've seen with the weapon:

**A spray of a noxious toxin flies from your vultite falcata bathing the burrow orc in a vile substance!**

**Noxious liquid from your vultite falcata showers the burrow orc which falls to the ground and large, oozing blisters begin to form.**

I guess my next thing is to see if these can be wizard enchanted....right now filled with poison it doesn't take a temper.

Will someone with a poison weapon that is newly loaded do me a favor and MEASURE <WEAPON> to tell me what you see?

And if anyone has a permanent version of these weapons, can you do the same?

I'd appreciate it greatly.

It's not exactly what you're looking for since it's not newly loaded, but here's what I see. I just had to apply a new coating, so I went from 9 doses to 8 doses:

>measure my falata
Glancing carefully at the falcata, you see it has 8 doses remaining within.

It takes a while to get through all the doses in the weapon. If some time in the near future when I have to fill my falcata back up, I'll post my info here should no one else do it before then.

Is it 1 flare = 1 dose?

Oh just realized it's not.

Okay, so people who have permanent poison flaring weapons- what happens when you use measure?

Does it have unlimited messaging? Or does it keep counting down until it gets to 0 doses and then refills?

At first I thought time4fun was back, then noticed it was from last year.
