Hokay so, digging out a decent suit of Metal Breastplate here. I will accept silvers and/or cash offers at 8$ per million.

"A damascened sanguine eahnor breastplate."

"Worn over a sanguine eahnor mail hauberk, the matching muscle cuirass is ornately etched with lines of wispy black fire. Fully articulated pauldrons fully enclose the shoulders, and an eahnor flange has been subtly riveted to each to provide added neck protection. Two eahnor clasps have been riveted to the pauldrons to allow for attaching a cloak. You see nothing unusual, except for a small enchanter's glyph. The metal armor is adorned with an elegant set of burnished leather pauldrons. The left pauldron has a crest on it, but it is difficult to discern its details from this angle. The right pauldron is expertly tooled with a stylized image of a fierce cerebus ready to strike."

"As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the sanguine eahnor breastplate in your hand, and you learn something about it...

The first thing that strikes you about the breastplate is the weight, which is about 12 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 44,650,000 silvers. You can also tell that the sanguine eahnor breastplate is predominantly crafted of eahnor.

...It has a bonus of +35 from a normal breastplate, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that it is plate armor.

...The harmonics generated tell you that the breastplate serves to reduce the severity of inflicted wounds.
As your song penetrates the sanguine eahnor breastplate, you determine that it is very resistant to slashing attacks and moderately vulnerable to shocking attacks.

...Examining the breastplate closely, it looks like it is heavily padded against critical blows.

This armor has "pauldron" zests:
You can try to RUB, POKE, SLAP, KNOCK, and WEAR the breastplate.

So basically...max light, +35, heavily crit padded, VERY slash resistant metal breastplate with fully unlocked pauldron zests.

MB: 38m CB: 40m Eodus going SOLD

Wanted to show off the slash resistance, so here are some 400+ end roll attacks with a CLAIDHMORE. The person wearing the armor had very little redux, if any.

Xxxxx swings a glaes-runed verdant faenor claidhmore at you!
A damascened sanguine eahnor breastplate partially deflects the onslaught of the slashing attack.
AS: +432 vs DS: +153 with AvD: +37 + d100 roll: +65 = +381
... and hits for 46 points of damage!
Crossing slash to chest catches your attention!

Apparently the 200+ end rolls against a 2-handed sword didn't really show the full picture, so here are some 400+ end rolls against a claid.

It's not like we've never heard of randomization.

You make me wish I could cram my ranger into MBP. :(

Several witnesses to the testing. These were the worst of the hits...well, besides the 540 end roll head crit...but that wasn't a slashing attack so I didn't post it.

If it is of the damage type you are taking, resistance is some seriously awesome shit.

I thought padding only covered what the armor coverd... mbp being chest. Does it transfer down an ag but still padded for arms legs head?

Anything not covered is counted as one armor level down. So for MBP arms/legs/head are counted as chain, and chest is counted as plate.

Oh, but that wasn't your question. AFAIK padding still covers everywhere regardless of the armor class. Not positive on that though.

Padding and AvD on whole body, crit divisor on different portions.

Yep, and that's sort of the trade-off, I guess...it is better than padding, but padding is universal, and resistance only applies to that particular attack.

In this case, there is universal padding, and ALSO resistance to the most common attack type.

Being dumb, but if I wear aventail / greaves etc when wearing this will that mean I have 7x HCP full plate with slash resistance on the limbs / head / neck too? So basically exactly like having full plate with the same spec?

Menos

At that point the only significant differences between this and full plate would be a lower base weight, Avd, and CvA. The padding and resistance is always full coverage (even without accessories). The crit divisor is the only thing different on the extremities (which is then the same if you add greaves/helm).

Basically you lose the equivalent of 12 DS and 2 TD from the Avd And CvA diference, respectively.

Still available.

I take silvers or cash...also considering trades of firstborn children, '69-'71 Mustang parts, or used nuclear material. Thorium preferable.

WTFever.

FBI hasn't been relevant since Comey wrecked Hillary's election.

(edit: Everyone knows that's the only reason she lost)

(edit edit: will also take '68 Mustang parts)
