Food for thought, have you thought about having a cleric churn out some 211 gems for you? They can do them really quick and if you have them use raise for the activator you can get pretty good bang for your buck on durations. Something to think about. You can also get 303, 307, 310 and 313.

One thing that dissappointed me on cleric gems is that it increase the weight of each gem from 1/10 of a pound to 5/10's of a pound. Thats 500% heavier :( When you are only getting say 4-5 activations per gem, you might need a lot of gems, and a small handful of blessed gems is more encumbrance than one would expect (intuitively). Although lockering them is a good idea.

You could get mage rechargable gems and do that. And then charge them so they last longer for their weight. Right?
